Internet Business and Full-time RV’ing Jul 30

Baby Boomers have come into their fifties and sixties in huge numbers and have promised themselves that they would never grow old. As a cohort we’re more a part of the entire world than any previous generation at the same age.

Many of us want to leave the daily grind of the 9-5 “rat race,” but we still need a steady income, and we want to stay active participants in the world’s economy (i.e., we’re not ready for the rocking chair just yet).

Starting and running an home business is a good way for Boomers to keep involved, develop a steady income, and at the same time, enjoy long-desired freedom and mobility.

Many Boomers love to travel, and specifically, they love RV’ing. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a way to travel the country in an RV and still be able to earn a good living?

Luckily, there is!

All you need is a computer with a wireless internet connection, an internet marketing business – and, of course, a recreational vehicle, or “RV” as they’re known.

With this limited equipment, you can run a million-dollar business from anywhere that your head and your heart lead you. When the weather is good, you may go see friends or family in the North, but then when winter comes and the snow flies, you might want to “blue-bird” it to the sunny South.

Either way, you can work your affiliate business easily and comfortably from your RV – and you get to choose how much – or how little – time you work!

This is an ideal way to work part-time, or increase your retirement income, plus, you won’t have to worry so much about what is going to happen to Social Security, health care, etc. because you know your online business will be producing a dependable second income for you, and doing so in a way that gives you the freedom and mobility you’ve worked so hard to earn.

I’ve been a full-time RVer and I’m following my own advice so that I can have greater mobility and freedom. I’m operating my own internet marketing business. I’m a firm believer in “Stewardship Education” – meaning, what I learn, I pass on to others. I invite you to take control of your future and your financial security by joining my team. Camping On The Roof Jul 30

People usually go on camping trips to enjoy themselves while spending some time in the great outdoors. Normal people do, at least. We have some family friends that said they absolutely hated camping trips, and would rather be working than go on one. Yet, every year, they went on at least two of them. We didn’t know where, but they were gone for several days.

We were as curious as you might be as to why they continued going if they hated it so much, but no answer was ever received. We tried to joining them on several occasions, yet they seemed reluctant and simply refused.

Once, when we were shopping together, I saw them buying a big tent, explaining to me that a good tent is crucial to have, when going camping. When I pointed out that it was very big, and probably heavy, and surely a smaller tent would have sufficed, they just laughed. Knowing they’ve went on so many camping trips, I figured they knew what they were doing.

I was right, and they knew exactly what they are doing, as I discovered by accident. I heard noises in the hallway and decided to check it out, only to see them climbing toward the top of the building, in full camping gear, and with their tent.

Going after them, I found myself on the roof, looking at what seemed to be a camping spot, with a large tent set up, some magazines, and a zune 8 gb digital media player black 2nd generation along with some speakers, for ambiance. I let them know I was there, by complimenting their player.

Their reaction had me laughing uncontrollably, and they soon joined me. They explained to me that this was “their” camping spot, and it was very relaxing. They finally decided to let us accompany them on their “trips” and now, from time to time, two big tents can be seen from the street, on top of our building.

Benefits And Losses Of Using A Canvas Camping Tent Jul 29

Camping is a great way to experience the great outdoors and get to see part of the countryside. One of the main requirements for camping is a camping tent. This is one of the required camping supplies in order to be able to enjoy the camping trip effectively. This tent should be able to provide the camper with adequate shelter from any given element which may be present depending on the season. A canvas camping tent is one of the many varieties of camping tents to choose from. There are certain advantages and disadvantages of using a canvas camping tent and they will be discussed here.

Advantages Of Canvas Camping Tent

One of the advantages of using a canvas camping tent is its capacity to be inherently cooler than a nylon tent under a blazing sun. The natural color of the canvas camping tent easily reflects the heat of the sun and wards it off without absorbing much of it. As the canvas camping tent is made of natural fibers and fabrics sustainable resource which can be recycled to an extent so it may not cause any damage to the environment.

Another advantage of a canvas camping tent is the fact that it is basically easier to repair than any nylon tent. One of the advantages of camping tent is that the canvas tent is made of a fabric having sturdy weave which can be repaired by simply sewing a patch on the hole or sewing the cut or tear. The ease of maintenance is also another advantage of the canvas camping tent. When nylon tears, the fabric is difficult to mend and it is also difficult tot sew a nylon fabric.

Disadvantages Of Canvas

The main disadvantage of a canvas camping tent is its bulk and weight. A canvas tent is much more difficult to keep and carry than the lighter nylon tents. This means that the person carrying this will have a difficult time lugging the canvas camping tent around in the rough road. While canvas has a natural waterproof element to it, it is not altogether waterproof to some extent. Once this fabric gets soaked or wet under extreme rain, it will be even heavier than it was originally. A canvas camping tent may not be able to provide enough ventilation if it is closed due to the ravages of rain or snow.

Camping Tent Component Jul 28

The camping tent comes in different shapes and sizes. It is usually used to shelter a person or persons from elements while out camping. There are also various camping tent materials that range from the ordinary to the state of the art. The kind of camping tent material can dictate just how sheltered one can be while out camping.

A camping tent can house just one person and be as light as can be or be able to accommodate some ten to fifteen people.  Many of the bigger tents have partitions that serve as rooms or storage areas if there are a lot of people occupying it. A camping tent actually serves to shelter and protect the person or things inside from the sun, the rain, the wind and other elements that may come up during a camping trip. A family camping tent needs to be big enough to accommodate the entire family along with some of their belongings.

Fabric Or Material For A Camping Tent

Nylon is the most common material used for a camping tent. There are certain kinds of nylon that are really quite light and versatile enough to be coated with protection to make them virtually waterproof. Nylon is also a durable material which can withstand being exposed to the sun, the rain and the wind as well as other harsh elements. Even without the accompaniment of the coating some nylon materials can stay waterproof for a period of time.

Canvas is other material that can be used for a camping tent. This material is not as light as nylon but it can suffice for camping during emergency situations. Canvas is durable and can withstand exposure to strong winds and the sun. Exposure to rain may need some coating to make it waterproof or be able to be leak proof. Canvas can also keep people quite warm and toasty inside it especially during the colder months but does not allow much ventilation or breathing. This means that the camping tent can become warm enough to be uncomfortable.

Neoprene is another camping tent material that has been used for some time now but has not been as successful as nylon. The reason why it hasn’t taken off as a camping tent material is because it can be extremely hot under the sun and it does not function well when exposed to water. Neoprene is also quite heavy and bulky to carry around. This material is prohibited due to these factors for tents.

Bad Weather Hunting? Your Camping Gear Makes a Difference! Jul 27

Don’t you hate it when you have a hunting trip planned and the forecast calls for bad weather? Have you ever canceled a camping trip because it was too cold or snowy? I don’t have that problem anymore. Last November I decided to go to hunting camp with a bunch of my friends. We made our plans a couple weeks in advance so we’d have plenty of time to get our camping gear ready. As opening day of deer season approached, I kept an eye on the Weather Channel and the prospects didn’t look very promising. The forecast was for a cold and snowy weekend but we were sure it wouldn’t keep us from bagging our deer.

You see, I had canceled too many camping trips in the past and recently purchased a four season camping tent and some warm sleeping bags to stop it from happening again. The tent sleeps up to eight so I knew we would have plenty of room for the four of us and our supplies. I also knew we’d be warm and dry because the four season camping tent is built to withstand all kinds of bad weather.

As Friday got closer, I packed all my equipment knowing that we’d be going camping as planned. Not only that but hunters without the right camping equipment would be staying home. Fewer hunters in the woods would mean better hunting for us. Also, doesn’t it seem like the deer know just when hunting season starts? Well, maybe because of the bad weather they wouldn’t be quite so careful.

Friday finally came and we stowed our camping gear in the car and headed for the woods. All of a sudden I realized that we didn’t have the picnic backpacks with the food for our first day in it. We don’t barbecue on Friday because by the time we get to camp and set up our tent, it’s too late to bother cooking.  After the first night though, we cook all our meals on our portable grill.

Finally we hit the road. I couldn’t wait to get to the woods and set up our camping gear before the snow and wind started. For me there’s nothing better than a weekend in the woods with my best friends and the anticipation of the hunt to come. Stay tuned and I’ll tell you how we did on our bad weather hunting trip.
